I rented an apartment in Saas-Fee from- Rene Birrer My Confirmation of booking no. 325164 I got to the apartment on Friday afternoon (I’m religious and keep Shabbat) right when I got to the apartment I started cooking (I have 2 babies) after a few minutes the electricity went off, I didn’t know what to do so I went up stairs to the neighbour because the landlord told us that he is in a party, she tried fixing it but it didn’t work, we started to look for a different apartment because like I said it was close to Shabbat and all the food needs to be ready before and I couldn’t be in a apartment with no electricity in the dark with babies that need hot water for the formula, so the neighbour offered us to come upstairs to an apartment that she has, A small room with 2 beds I didn’t have a better option so I went up took all of our suitcases and everything else then I put the pots on the stove to continue cooking and again all the electricity went out, now it was already 40 min before Shabbat I don’t know if you know what it means but from a certain time on Friday we can’t use our phones, cook, drive and more for 24 hours So I had to find a place asap, I asked friends and they found me something in saas ground for more than double the price but I had no choice I had to go I couldn’t be in the dark with 2 babies, so I went there and that’s where I stayed for the rest of the time I reached out to the landlord to ask him for a refund because not only I didn’t stay in the apartment I also had crazy drama and heartache, it was the most frustrating thing ever!!! But he is refusing to give us back the money he is saying that we used foil pots on the stove and that’s why it happened, I told him that I always cook like this also in my house and also in Swiss in other apartments I’ve been in, it is not the problem, I told him he can keep the money for the cleaning. I paid 580ch to him and the apartment I took was 1200ch!!!! Really he should pay for the whole thing because it is his fault, because of his issue in the apartment I had to pay more than double, but he is not even willing to refund me for what I paid.
